Grad Time!

So far my grad experience has consisted of Commencement, Grad Dinner/Dance, and then Dry Grad. Those don't necessarily mark the end of school, they just mark one month till school is over. Kind of anticlimactic. Oh well, it's almost over now, then I get to start work at a box factory for the summer. Fun!
.

If it was hard to hear in the video i got two scholarships, one for visual arts, and one for being a patient of Dr. Maduke (orthodontist). After commencement, for a grad present, Mom and Mad got me a TomTom GPS car Navigator. Exactly what I need for my poor sense of direction. I changed the voice so that Austin Powers is giving me directions in the car. "Groovy driving! Yeah!"
Delicious cheese cake at the dinner/dance
The theme of this years dry grad was Las Vagas, so there were gambling tables, show girls, and a fake tattoo place. There were also inflatable jumping castles and obstacle courses, virgin drinks, a hypnotist show, good food, a couple drunk people, door prizes, a place to get your caricature done, and a place to cash in our fake gambling winnings for candy. I left with Purdey's Chocolate, a $25 gift card to metrotown, and a whole whack of sinfully purchased candy. Actually I used less money to purchase the candy than I started off with. Dang wheel! Overall I was a little disappointed, but it was still very fun.

This is getting my Caricature done at dry grad.

awww, Brian--you've all growed up!! Congrats on graduating and especially for those scholarships!! I didn't know Dr. Maduke gave scholarships...I should've hooked up with her. (I had her as an orthodontist as well. :P) Way to go!

Brian, I'm so glad you posted. I love the little video. It's like I was there. Cute pictures, love the charicature. I've always wanted to get one done of me! Glad you had a pretty good time... now if only school would end!! oh, and that gps sounds like a good idea for you (and me... maybe I can use it whenever I visit!)

Way to go Brian! It will be nice when school is actually over. I'm sure working in the box factory all summer will get you excited to College.

Congratulations Brian! So exciting to graduate from high school and headed for college! I always get really emotional at graduations, and even just watching that little clip made me get a little teary eyed! I know, I'm weird. Anyhoo, I hope you have a great summer . . . box factory and all!
